We are students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in LTEC 448. Our project is to educate, advocate and create awareness for a social issue in our world using technology and social media. We have partnered with the UN and their sustainable development goals, one of which is to end hunger by the year 2030. Through social media, we have created a challenge that will hopefully bring more awareness to the devastating problem of hunger. While participating in the challenge may not directly end it, it does bring a sense of reality to those who participate and inadvertently leads them to learn more about hunger and provides ways in which to help this worldly cause.
